interest for electronic music started in the early 80´s. Even during my childhood I was inspired by tracks like Commander Tom, Kraftwerk, Klangwerk, Front 242, Depeche Mode, etc. which used an electronic sounding background. Later, I bought my first Technics 1200 MK2´s and started mixing various soundtracks. Occasionally I tried remixing the old sounds with the new. After playing at private parties around Frankfurt/ Main Germany, I achieved my first gigs in Clubs and Raves. During my career as a DJ my turning point started in Café Helium, Frankfurt where I used to play during the week(ends) as a resident where I turned a café into a club. Big events in the early times were various clubs around Frankfurt (Dorian Gray, Cocoon Club, U60311) and the surrounding area. I played as a Resident DJ at the following clubs: Deelite Frankfurt, Groove Club Frankfurt and even U60311 before I moved to Australia. There I played at several Clubs in Sydney (Icebox, Underground Level - 88 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst) and other events. In addition, I organized the first Toxic-Family events @ U60311. Very often people ask me, ?What sort of music do you spin??. I would describe my music style as a mix of old and new tunings. I still enjoy listening to old classics and depending on my mood you might hear a real old classic so don´t be surprised. Music is an expression and the way to express yourself in the scene is by the choice of your records. I´m rather critical about the style of music I spin because I want to create an atmosphere At the moment I am staying in the underground and only play at certain events or radio shows.
